Aviation Safety

Aviation Safety Network - The Aviation Safety Network is a private, independent initiative founded in 1996. On line since January 1996, the Aviation Safety Network covers accidents and safety issues with regards to airliners, military transport planes, and corporate jets. The ASN Safety Database contains detailed descriptions of over 20,300 incidents, hijackings, and accidents. 

 

Aviation Safety Reporting System - The ASRS collects, analyzes, and responds to voluntarily submitted aviation safety incident reports in order to lessen the likelihood of aviation accidents. The ASRS acts on the information these reports contain. It identifies system deficiencies, and issues alerting messages to persons in a position to correct them.

 

Flight Safety Foundation -  The Foundation is an international non-profit organization exclusively chartered to provide impartial, independent, expert safety guidance and resources for the aviation and aerospace industry. https://flightsafety.org/

 

 

ICAO Aircraft Engine Emissions Databank - The ICAO Aircraft Engine Emissions Databank contains information on exhaust emissions of production aircraft engines, measured according to the procedures in ICAO Annex 16, Volume II, and where noted, certified by the States of Design of the engines according to their national regulations. The databank covers engine types which emissions are regulated, namely turbojet and turbofan engines with a static thrust greater than 26.7 kilonewtons. The information is provided by the engine manufacturers, who are solely responsible for its accuracy.
