GeoFRED® is a web application that allows users to create thematic maps of U.S. economic data for geographies, including states, counties, and metropolitan statistical areas. Maps

can be created from over 12,000 regional data series available in the FRED® database. Regional data series include civilian labor force, residential population, and unemployment rate. Various tools allow users to customize and print these maps. https://geofred.stlouisfed.org/

 

Data.gov - Launched in 2009 and is managed and hosted by the U.S. General Services Administration, Technology Transformation Service. It is an online repository of policies, tools, case studies, and other resources to support data governance, management, exchange, and use throughout the federal government. https://www.data.gov/

 

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics- Economy at a Glance - The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) produces Economy at a Glance page for the national, regional, state, and metropolitan area levels. The data displayed in these pages are assembled from different surveys and programs conducted by BLS. The Economy at a Glance page are refreshed with current data every time any of the source programs releases new statistics. Pew Research Center - Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world. It conducts public opinion polling, demographic research, media content analysis and other empirical social science research.
