Assessment Center Information

Welcome to the Hallmark University Assessment Center

The Hallmark University Assessment Center is located in room 154 on the main campus. The Hallmark University  Assessment Center is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 am - 6 pm, Wednesday from 11 am-8 pm, and Friday from 9 am - 6 pm. We are closed on Holidays observed by Hallmark University.

Assessments are structured and standardized processes used by organizations to evaluate the skills and abilities of candidates or testers. This typically involves a combination of various methods.

The Assessment Center offers trained proctors who observe and follow strict rules and guidelines. Therefore, the results of the Assessment Center can provide valuable insights into candidates' strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future development, which can be used to make informed selections.

The Assessment Center provides cameras and trained proctors to facilitate fairness by monitoring the testing process and ensuring that all candidates follow the same rules and procedures. Cameras record the entire testing session. This ensures that the testing process is transparent and fair and can increase the confidence of all stakeholders in the validity of the testing results.

Standard testing rules apply:

  • No food, water, or electronic devices are allowed in the testing area.

  • All personal belongings, including bags, coats, and hats, must be stored in designated lockers. There will be a locker provided for you to store your items, and you will keep the key with you at all times. No weapons allowed.

  • Only authorized materials may be used during the test. Unauthorized materials, including notes and study aids, are prohibited.

  • Talking or communicating with other test takers during the test is not permitted.

  • Eating, drinking, or chewing gum during the test is not allowed.

  • Any attempt to cheat is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.

  • Test takers must arrive on time for their scheduled test with activated and current accounts.

  • Please ensure that you know your passwords for any testing accounts before arriving at the Assessment Center.

  • Test takers must follow all instructions given by the proctor and may not leave the testing area until they are authorized. Following the proctor's instructions will help to ensure that the test is conducted fairly and that all test takers are evaluated using the same criteria.

  • All scratch paper will be returned to the proctor before leaving the area.

  • Any form of disruptive behavior, inability to follow the rules or loud noises may result in disqualification from the test.
