What's good about a citation generator?
The citation button in any database (or that can be found on a citation generation website) will provide you with a citation for the article.
- Names and words will be spelled correctly.
- If there is obvious publication information it will also generate
-the DOI or HTTPS will be present if available
Copy and paste the citation into a Word document to start your Reference page.
BUT MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THAT EVERYTHING IS CORRECT BEFORE TURNING IN YOUR ASSIGNMENT!!
What could be wrong?
While citation generation sites have significantly improved, they are not 100% perfect!
Often, it will be small things, like incorrect italicization.
You MUST ensure your citations are correct (according to the APA 7th Edition manual) before turning in your assignment!
